Ingryd Darling Doceria is a confectionary based in Niterói-Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
One of their most sought-out items is the Bombom de Morango, also known as the Strawberry Bonbon. Made of a duo of strawberries, encased by a layer of creme and drizzled chocolate shell.
Approach
Through a series of ideations and sketches, a final image consisting of chocolate pieces, strawberries, & the Bombom de Morango was formed.
The creme background was essential to invoke nostalgic, 1950's confectionaries & the creme of the Bombom itself.
Examples outline initial drafts of icons- which included milk, flowers, & chocolate along with the iconic strawberry.
